Story & Experience
We had an amazing event to honor the Housatonic River and lift up the Rights of Nature movement for the Berkshires. Over 60 people participated in song, inquiry, contemplation, music making, and offering for the river at the end. We know this will be the first of many events to bring love to the precious waters. The community was amazing and everyone from stilt-walking eight-year-olds to drumming 68-year-olds came out to support the river. Right when we started, a quick and beautiful rain fell on an otherwise gorgeous day, which we all felt to be a blessing. The event was about two hours, covered a lot of metaphorical ground in a less than one mile River Walk and left everyone feeling full and inspired.
