Story & Experience

Hess

We had a beautiful day to be at Savage Neck. We made the RadJoy bird out of the shell of a large washed up horseshoe crab, seaweed, shells, a stray watermelon rind and a “Happy Birthday” Mylar balloon. All very symbolic of what is right and what is out of balance with the Bay (harmed by development, sea level rise, pollution, etc.). In response to what they thought about the event, the young man in our group said, “We need to protect this place so it’s not ruined by the products of humanity.” ‘Nuff said. We blessed the waters and sent love to all.
