Story & Experience

Once upon a time there were tissues that were used to soak up tears of sadness and snots of rage. Then they were thrown into a plastic bag. Then hope appeared—hope which offered to transform the snotty, mascary, teary tissues into something else. The tissues trusted in hope and threw themselves fully into being transformed.

They did not realise that they had been made visible by transforming into a bird the beauty, strength and courage of those who had used them to contain their tears of sadness and their snots of anger. I forgot to acknowledge with thanks and awe my courageous clients who gave me their permission to use their tissues.
