Story & Experience
Tom: It was a good experience, Christi, along the waters. As deeply disappointed as I was with the actual buy-in response I got from my conversations, emails, phone calls with many individuals leading up to June 21, I was very satisfied with our group’s interactions, process and the whole experience on the banks of the St. Vrains River. It is a different form of activism and invitation and engagement we present. My understanding of how “radical” is the joy is growing, as is my awareness of how crucially important to the future is the contribution of the Global Earth Exchange paradigm for transformation. It is a very good feeling to go after a sustainable and deep relationship with nature. I am wishing you well as you prepare for that long journey/hike at the end of July and hope it is all and more than you hope and expect.
Christi: I have attached the pictures for our event in Longmont, CO—along the St. Vrain River and at a place of tremendous flooding last year. Our focus was water—and we looked at the impacts of global climate change, fracking, the number of people on the planet without access to water, and the beauty and the losses connected with the big flood last year. While the acts of beauty went towards water, the heart of the sharing was around Radical Joy for Hard Times, and how to turn towards love, joy, and acts of beauty in these uncertain times. I’m tuckered out, but can’t wait to hear how the day went around the world.
