Story & Experience

On the way to the first well fracked we had a tour of the many places where they are drilling or plan on drilling. We sang and my husband played his flute to honor this beautiful land with its rolling hills and farmland. Then we all proceeded to make radical joy birds of many shapes and sizes. Totems we saw along the journey (with their medicine card meaning):
hawk- messenger
rabbits- fear
dragonfly- illusion
butterfly- transformation
red-wing blackbirds
I’m still processing the whole thing and will probably have more to say later… It was a rough but ultimately rewarding day.
