Here are some pics from our RadJoy event at Ormond Beach/Halaco site in Oxnard, CA. We saw nature “re-taking” the waste site, so we incorporated the weed as a symbol of that….
We sang the song David composed: “I’ve got that Radical Joy, Radical Joy, Radical Joy down in my heart,” as well as heard his friend Steve’s (who also used to work at the water treatment plant across the street and is the head of the Ormond Beach fan club) poem about this place. We learned so much about this site from these two. It was inspiring! Steve shared about a beautiful walk we could come back and do.
