Carla Planzer

This year my husband, my two granddaughters, our dog and me celebrated the Earth Exchange Day in the little valley called Golddachtobel near Speicher (St.Gallen / East of Switzerland). We started our way by walking through the little gorge and looked for a place where we could do beauty to the earth and where we could feel our connection to nature. By walking and climbing over stones and little boulders we were listening to the song of this little valley which has been louder and deeper the more we went to our place. There were newts in a puddle, small and big birds in the air and on the beach of the little brook, butterflies and bees on the flowers, beetles and ants on bushes, trees and plants. It was like being in a paradise.

We found our place after more than an hour’s walking and enjoying. Given by the place we collected stones, rusty parts of wheels and wires, plugs, a left snail house and built a little bird as a gift to the wholeness. After a long time we left the place deeply satisfied and once again connected to the earth.
