Iris: When I was a child in the 70s and 80s, Belongil River Mouth was abundant with shore-birds and the Great Barrier Reef was vibrant with colour. Although both of these magical places have been drastically depleted, I am determined to ensure my Grandchildren of the future will see the return of the shore-birds to Belongil, and the Great Barrier Reef radiant once more, by taking radical, passionate action now. We had a blessed day at the mouth of the Belongil River yesterday for the Global Earth Exchange ceremony. Linking up with caring people all over the world to lovingly tend to special places on the planet that are depleted from the strain of interfacing with humankind…
