Story & Experience

Ferguson

I did a solo Earth Exchange at a Colorado State Wildlife Refuge about 1/2 mile from where I am currently living in Grand Junction. I did my ceremony shortly after sunrise blessing the 4 directions and honoring the earth regarding all of the destruction of trees and homes from all of the fires in Colorado and the west, and sang “For the Beauty of the Earth”.. The ground where I made my Rad Joy bird was parched and dry. I thanked the earth for all of her blessings and sang the John Rutter version of “For the Beauty of the Earth”. I was amazed that I did actually feel better after having done that! The only way to get myself in the pictures was to photograph my shadow and also one photo has my shoes. It was a great experience. Thanks for providing a way to allow for healing!

From all of the photos on the website, it looks like it was a great turnout and people felt good about it. Congratulations! Your passion is an inspiration!
