Story & Experience

Eight Kindred Spirits gathered at the edge of the Colorado River to honor all of the wounded places on the Earth. We each put a pin into a globe-shaped pin cushion when we talked about the wound that was most important to us. We then removed the pins and used them to attach a fabric brooch with hearts and earth symbols on it to our shirts. We strummed a wooden frog during our ceremony to bring about cleansing and purification. We then made a RadJoy bird out of natural items and trash from the bank of the river. It was a very healing ceremony!
