Story & Experience

Today had been on my radar then I forgot. But while gardening I hit steel and some time later I pulled an old back boiler from the earth a large piece of steel that was corroding that a builder had buried. It was satisfying to take it out, perhaps to grow flowers in it. Then at three Deb noticed our one beehive had split and swarmed. I suited up and cut the bees out of a tree where they can be cared for as my hives grow to two. I sat in the twilight waiting for all the bees to return to the cardboard box that would be a temporary home. I hated to think any would be left out. Bees are dying the world over from pesticides and herbicides. Well done on the world event. I think more about wounded places and how I can make a beauty there.
