Cheryl and Sara Hurlburt

What a blessing and a privilege to create beauty and bring love to a wounded beach. A collective septic culvert drains onto the land and into the water in this area. My daughter Sara and I held ceremony, gave thanks for the land and the water, acknowledged the wounding, and the beauty of Mother Earth’s amazing resiliency to innately heal herself. As the septic drain pours both treated and semi-treated (from very old technology) effluent onto this beach the bacteria/toxins are absorbed by the plants and the rocky sand, innately working to neutralize the negative effects. As we prayed and made our beautiful Radical Joy Bird we were also reminded of the mirror nature offers us in regards to the innate resiliency of the human body, mind and spirit. We are interconnected and part of the greater whole, may we all choose to walk the path of the highest good for all.
