The hearts are a welcome sight in mid February and particularly this year as we were all sheltering in place because of the COVID pandemic. We are a small household of folks in the high-risk age category ranging in age from 68 to 90 and are still very much centered at home with Peter and my mother. During this time of upheaval of everything, I have found happiness, satisfaction and comfort outside tending the gardens and to my mother&#8217;s needs. Everything we need is right here. With community heart, self care, and radical joy.
