Story & Experience

Alice and I hosted a Global Earth Exchange event in Craigville Village yesterday.  It was pretty low key.  Although we invited the whole community, in the end only five people attended.
Nevertheless we shared some stories and created some art.
But I think our race is run in Craigville. Most of the folks who were involved in the Global Earth Exchange in the early days have either passed away, or become otherwise active in other initiatives. Looking to the future, I hope to devote my (ever more limited) energy to supporting at-risk teens through a progressive public charter school, and to resisting White Christian Nationalism and other threats to our dreams of a healthy future.  Either of these could be a full time job!
I also want to take time to enjoy what beauty remains.
I’ll certainly stay on the RadJoy mailing list, but I think, for Craigville, this year is our “swan song.”
Fortuitously, a swan flew low, right in front of us, as we undertook the GEX activities.  Everything is connected–
