A Radical Joy for Hard Times practice of connecting to the wounded land

Presented by Harriet Sams and Sasha Daucus

Zoom calls on Thursdays—April 29, May 13, May 27, June 10, and June 24—
12 pm EST, 5-7 pm BST, 6-8 pm CET

Attending to Place is a practice we will embark upon together to explore ways of relating to wounded places.

It offers you a focus for immersing yourself over time in a place you care about that’s hurting—and so is hurting you in turn. Through guidance from experienced practitioners, you will join others to find a place near you and deepen into awareness of the wounds and the gifts of the place.

This fully immersive practice will both expand and deepen the ways you relate to wounded places, to yourself in relationship with them, and to your community as we all search for ways of living with ecological damage in the years and generations to come.

Each person will commit to spending time at a particular wounded place near them, also meeting every other week for five session in a group-sharing Zoom call for two hours after each practice on the land.

This course is offered on a sliding scale of donation. Suggested price for the course: $80-150 / £60-110.
