Event Inspiration

We will take a short walk to the bank of the Hudson River where the roots of old trees are eroded and exposed, due to the constant rising and falling of the waters, creating terminal damage to these trees.  We will speak of the extinction of species, both local and global, and will create a RadJoy bird to honor this majestic river for all she has given to the surrounding communities over the years.   There are the remains of an ice house from the 19th century on this property, an industry that was vital to the Hudson River Valley before the advent of refrigeration.
