Event Inspiration

Oak wilt has been devasting the oak trees that so many of us in the Texas Hill Country identify with and love.  Our trees at High Hope are no exception, and now our most beloved oak, Grandmother Oak is besieged.  About one-fifth of her is still holding on to life and leaves.  We will gather to pray for the life that is still in here, and begin to see the beauty and love in her next stage as a giving tree.

Special Notes & Instructions

We will be doing this in conjunction with a friend who has reserved Habari House to celebrate her 50th birthday.  Friends of High Hope who know who and what we are may join us for this ceremony, but we are keeping this a mostly private ceremony.  Thank you one and all!
